Saturday evening I had the privilege of photographing the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit of the USMC at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, Ca. Shooting for GCS Photography this was my 99th Marine Corps Ball… for 237 years the Marines have served with honor and distinction… from Bella Wood to Helmand Province this country owes them a debt of gratitude un-repayable … without Question Semper Fidelis!
Friday Evening I had the honor of photographing the Heavy Marine Helicopter Squadron 465 at Harrah’s Rincon Resort and Casino in Valley Center, Ca. Shooting for GCS Photography It was yet another Birthday Ball on the books! The Guest of Honor for the War Horses was Ret. MSGYSGT. Bill Dower and he gave one of the best oration’s I have have heard delivered at a Birthday Ball…and this was the 98th ball that I have photographed….He was very inspirational and he touched a lot of people in the room. Kudos to you Devil Dog Dower!
Thursday evening I had the pleasure of photographing the HMMT164’s Birthday Ball at the Kona Kai Hotel on Shelter Island in San Diego, the Knight Riders are a Helicopter Training Group that have been getting the job done since Vietnam…this job was again for GCS Photography…this Ball makes my 97th…more to come!
